I guess you all know, Alexandra Burke’s mom Melissa Bell was a member of British double award-winning Grammy act Soul II Soul. She was active at Soul II Soul from 1988 to 1997. Then she started another group called Soul Explosion at 1999.

And guess what? Alexandra Burke’s singing career started from Soul Explosion. And she and her sister Sheneice Burke are still featured as “Backing and Lead Vocals” on Soul Explosion’s Musicians page.
