JLS have confirmed that their new single will be called ‘The Club Is Alive’. The song’s title was revealed on Manchester’s In Demand radio show, with its release date also being announced as July 4.
The band later took to Twitter to confirm the news, posting: “New single confirmed as ‘The Club Is Alive’ – out July 4th – eeeeeeeeeeeek!!! xx.”
Yesterday a radio station posted the lyric “The club is alive with the sound of music” from the song on Twitter, suggesting that it samples the title track from the 1965 film The Sound Of Music.
JLS have also confirmed that they are shooting a video for ‘The Club Is Alive’ while they finish recording their second LP in the US.
