Alexandra Burke has reportedly threatened to sue her mother after learning of her plans to release a tell-all book. The News of the World claims that the X Factor winner called in lawyers from her record label Syco after learning about Melissa Burke’s plans. The book, titled Heart And Soul, allegedly features a picture of Alexandra on the cover and is due to be published in April.
I guess you all know, Alexandra Burke’s mom Melissa Bell was a member of British double award-winning Grammy act Soul II Soul. She was active at Soul II Soul from 1988 to 1997. Then she started another group called Soul Explosion at 1999.
And guess what? Alexandra Burke’s performing career started from Soul Explosion. And she and her sister Sheneice Burke are still featured as “Backing and Lead Vocals” on Soul Explosion’s Musicians page.
