The X Factor judge Simon Cowell has reportedly told his fellow judge Cheryl Cole to leave her cheating husband after a three and a half year marriage with Ashley Cole.
It has been widely reported that Cowell is guiding Cheryl about her next move and offering her the confidence to feel that she can go it alone. A source close to Cowell said that Simon has been having fatherly chats with her. He feels Cheryl is his protégé since he put her on X Factor. He loves her to bits and is very protective of her.

Alexandra Burke has reportedly threatened to sue her mother after learning of her plans to release a tell-all book. The News of the World claims that the X Factor winner called in lawyers from her record label Syco after learning about Melissa Burke’s plans. The book, titled Heart And Soul, allegedly features a picture of Alexandra on the cover and is due to be published in April.

Singer Alexandra Burke has said that she is “heartbroken” after visiting Haiti following the recent earthquake there. According to The Sun, the singer visited Haiti in order to raise awareness about relief efforts there. While there she met 7-year-old Kiki Joachin, who was rescued after being trapped under rubble for days.

Owl City climbs to No. 1 with ‘Fireflies’, Alexandra at No. 8

Owl City – a.k.a. American synth-pop singer-songwriter Adam Young – has scored his first UK number one. The single ‘Fireflies’, which is taken from his third album Ocean Eyes, climbed up from number two to topple Iyaz from the top spot.

‘Fireflies’ is already number one in Ireland, Australia, Denmark and Holland. It topped the US Billboard chart last year and has broken into the top 20 in nine other territories.

Alexandra Burke, Take That, Susan Boyle Join Haiti Charity Single

Susan Boyle, Take That and Alexandra Burke have signed up to sing on the Haiti charity single – a cover of ‘Everybody Hurts’ by R.E.M.

The acts will join the previously announced line-up of Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, JLS and Michael Buble for the single, which is being organised by Simon Cowell and The Sun newspaper.

Ignore it,” she told The Sun.
